CMT and CBS have announced that the 2023 CMT Music Awards, will air Sunday, April 2, 2023 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) LIVE from Austin, Texas.

Kelsea Ballerini appeared in Austin last night, November 2, during Carrie Underwood's announcement that she will be performing at the event.

Underwood, the title of winningest artist in CMT history with a total of 25 trophies, was announced as the first performer for the 2023 show.

Due to a positive COVID-19 test, Kelsey was forced to co-host this year's event from home, with Ken Brown and Anthony Mackie on the ground.
