Denise Richards and her husband, Aaron Phypers, are unharmed after being shot in their truck in a road rage incident in Los Angeles on Monday.

The actress and her husband were driving to Popsicle Studios in Los Angeles, where Richards was filming for an upcoming project.

She was so shaken and terrified, but she was a trooper and she went and filmed all day and she didn't want to work.

According to sources, Richards was riding in the passenger seat of their Ford F-150 Shelby pick-up truck while Phipers was behind the wheel.

Richards, 51, and Phypers, 50, married in Malibu in 2018, just two days after People reported the couple, who began dating in December.

As the couple headed to a day of filming in South Los Angeles, Phypers noticed a gold and maroon van following them.

"The van was on his tail, almost hitting him... They couldn't make it out," the source added, they were both "frantic" about the situation.
