Robert Clary, best known for playing Corporal Louis LeBeau on the beloved CBS sitcom Hogan's Heroes, has died at age 96.

Clary’s granddaughter Kim Wright confirmed that he passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16 morning at his home in Los Angeles, California.

The French-born actor was best known for his 1965-71 stint as POW Corporal Louis LeBeau, he was a familiar face to fans of afternoon television.

Clary was the last surviving member of the show's original main cast.

Clary was the youngest of 14 children born to her strict Orthodox Jewish parents.
